Kobi Colston has worked in the field of Education for over 10 years. A native Washingtonian, he has been able to give back to the city he was raised in while teaching in the field of Media and Communications to high school students in the DCPS system. A freelance photographer and editor with deep industry knowledge, Kobi has brought his love and passion of communications and career experience into the classroom for his students. He has also worked within the community developing partnerships for his students to gain experiences in the field of communications, engaging in mentor groups with minority male students, and teaching audio engineering for students to gain recording experience. He earned his MA in Educational Leadership from Concordia University-Portland and holds a BA in Mass Communications and Broadcast Studies from Norfolk State University.
