Online memberships and donations
When you purchase a Phillips Collection membership or make a donation to The Phillips Collection online, we will ask you to provide us with the information we need to process your membership and/or to acknowledge your contribution. This information includes your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction.
From time to time, The Phillips Collection may invite you to participate in surveys posted on The Phillips Collection website or sent to you via e-mail. You may decide whether or not you wish to complete such surveys, which may ask about your background, occupation, or similar questions. We use this information to help us better understand our audience, which in turn allows us to better meet your needs and interests.
If The Phillips Collection offers website visitors the opportunity to participate in an online contest and you choose to enter, you will need to provide your name and e-mail address so that we may contact you in connection with that contest. We may also request that you provide us with certain other information, such as your zip code, state of residence, and grade in school (provided that you are at least 13 years of age).
The Phillips Collection operates the Prism.K12 website, which is designed for educators teaching grades K through 12. It houses resources, tools, and games about art and artists and enables educators to collaborate with each other and with the staff of The Phillips Collection. The Prism.K12 website allows users to create profiles containing a variety of personal and other information, including name, email address, password, location (country, state, and zip code), and professional information (e.g., grades and subjects taught). The website also allows educators to participate in online forums. To post in the forums, participants must disclose their name and/or email address to other users, and may elect to disclose a variety of other information.
Children twelve and under
The Phillips Collection does not solicit information from children. Visitors 12 years of age and under should remember that they are required to obtain an adult’s permission before submitting any personal information to this or any other website.
